In this fundamentally revised version, the questionnaire and digitally assisted analysis have been streamlined and made more efficient. The analysis options have been expanded and graphically enhanced. A new analysis method for the basic module B1 now provides a clear overview of which communicative functions a person uses from the perspective of different observers. These changes make version 1.5X the most comprehensive revision of the OCS-R to date, expanding application and analysis possibilities while making implementation more precise and straightforward.

The Questionnaire for Observing Communicative Skills – Revision (OCS-R) is a multi-perspective diagnostic tool to assess communicative or communication-relevant competencies in children, adolescents, and adults with complex communication needs. The aim is to reveal similarities and differences in the assessments of different caregivers and to utilize them for communication support.
